Hello,
I've been dabbling around with this new glamour feature, the one that lets you "merge" certain gear sets into outfits. It's awesome, it frees up so much glamour dresser space! Thanks for that! (I also heard from friends it's going to be expanded...? Would certainly love to squish all the job artifact gear in there, that takes up half the slots.)
However, I noticed a bit of a flaw in the sense that you can only merge complete sets. Despite being able to select each single piece, you need all parts readily available. Now, it's not that much of a hassle to go to Island Sanctuary and buy one or two parts of the Island sets. Other sets have a much bigger price tag though. If I have one half of the crafteable Thavnarian set with the Bolero and another half of the other one with the bustier, merging each would enable me to reduce five or six slots to two. However, because they are only half, and each of the parts of these sets are quite expensive. Having to spend one or two million gil to buy parts I never wanted to wear in the first place just to tackle my overflowing glamour dresser is a bit much to ask.
Of course, it's just gil, but should this feature be expanded to dungeon or raid loot for example (which would very cool), it would require me to farm specific duties over and over just to get this one hat I need for a specific set of fending gear. It would be easier to keep the pieces seperate, and this option still exists etc., but that kind of defies the purpose of using this feature to fight the issue of a full glamour dresser.
Tl;dr: Please give us the option to "merge" gear into outfits when parts of the sets are missing. It varies a lot what it takes on time and gil to complete a set, and when it is being (hopefully) expanded to battle gear, a lot of bad RNG could make this a very frustrating situation.
Thanks!
