I posted about this in the UI subforum as soon as it was announced. It's absolutely intuitive to have the controls tilt with the camera, especially when holding a controller. It's very likely that the person taking screenshots has tilted their head to look at the screen, so tilting the controls keeps that in synch.

It should certainly be a toggle between the two control modes, but it isn't a universal improvement to just change how it works.

I'm finding the new controls much more intuitive for taking pictures in landscape orientation at anything other than a 0 degree angle. Previously, it was finicky to adjust the camera's pan or tilt after already rolling the camera even 10 degrees. At least now, the controls are seamless with the view.

That being said, when taking portraits it's a lot easier to tilt one's head than one's monitor, so adding a toggle to switch controls (but not the view) between landscape and portrait would be helpful.

I know it's wishful thinking but I wish they made it so you don't have to tilt your head in the first place. Neck pain is a real issue if you spend too much time taking portrait screenshots XD

I'm bumping this thread to state again that I would rather have this as a toggle despite it working perfectly well for myself with the current settings.
