    Maybe it could be intuitive to learn for people who are trying it for the first time but it's completely insane to change controls in a game without providing a toggle for the old controls. In what world is taking away control options a good idea?

    Also it may be more intuitive for you but you also have to remember that different people have different strategies for taking vertical shots. Some people turn their heads so the controls are now flipped for them. I know someone who streams their PS5 to youtube and then full screens it on their phone to look at it vertically LOL. Also needing to consider controller vs mouse and keyboard etc etc. Do you really think you can assert that this is a positive change across the board for all users?

    Intuitive for you is not intuitive for everyone.

    I play on controller. The old movement was intuitive, but trying to do the new movement, even when I stopped and thought about it and tried to think whether up or down would make the turned camera move the way I wanted it to, I still didn't get it right. It's completely disorienting.

    Also, to think about how to move the camera, I had to disengage with the portrait-orientented view I was looking at (head turned to the side to look at it upright) and look at the whole screen as something abstract, trying to translate my intention into this different view entirely.

    Clearly this change has been applied by someone who shares your thoughts on which way is intuitive, but that doesn't make it intuitive for everyone.

    Totally agreed, came on to post this. My pal was actually complaining about it and I didn't think it would be so bad until I hopped on and tried a vertical shot for myself and jeeeeeeeeeeesus christ make a toggle please. I even have a monitor that rotates 90 degrees and it's still disorienting to move the camera around. I've had to start prepping the shot in landscape because its just too miserable trying to do it in vertical.

    Please return the old controls to the game. Or add the ability to switch.
    The new controls are terribly inconvenient for shooting artistic video in the game, I'm upset

    It's actually even worse than I initially thought. I only noticed the awful switching of camera control hotkeys, but it flips camera movement with your mouse as well which is probably the most baffling decision I have ever seen.

    I'm late, but I found this thread because I'm trying to Gpose tonight and I'm just frustrated out of my mind trying to get the camera to move the way I want. It hasn't gotten any easier with time or practice.

    I truly appreciate that the devs thought this change would be helping players, but it's kind of killed my enthusiasm for Gpose. Please, please add a toggle!

    Bumping this thread because this new controls are very annoying and completely unintuitive...
    If there are people liking it it's okay, but I wish they could indeed put the possibility to get back how the controls were before, like in the camera settings we have in the Character Configuration Control Settings.
    Or even something toggleable in the gpose menu would be fine...

    I'm disappointed that there's no fix/toggle for the changed controls, and on top of that, the new blurred background focus is doing awful things to how I previously used the camera – zooming in previously just made the character look more "straight on" instead of having some amount of foreshortening in the default view (it particularly affects how much the feet are visible beneath a long skirt) but now it also sends the whole image super blurry and I have to turn off depth perception entirely if I can't figure out how to make it clear again.

    Again this should be a new option, not the only way the camera works now.
