    The new hit detection/delay is really bad

    Pretty much every ability now feels like a chore to use. Recuperate, purify, guard, especially feel significantly worse. The change was made to make abilities more reactable, but you can't actually react with anything because anything you can do is just as delayed. Instead all that happens is you get a sudden burst of damage that insta kills you behind a wall after your third press of recuperate without it going off. Please consider reverting the hit delay for at least the main defensive abilities.

    Have to agree, all the defensive abilities (as well as most of the offensive ones) went from feeling snappy to feeling like I'm pushing my action buttons through a thick layer of half-set tar. I can't rely on recuperate to get me out of what was previously nearly an easily survivable dive, guess I'll have to pick up a ranged job or join the legions of astrologians

    I've been playing pvp in this game since season 3 of the feast, even on high ping (from south america) and still had fun and got a couple of top 100s, and I can say that these changes feels like square didn't bother playtesting this at all.

    All defensive cds taking 7 business days to work, every gcd feeling like you're playing with a rubber band effect on all the time... At least before 7.1, if you noticed you can't move, you KNOW you got cc'ed by something, now you see the animation and have to think "hmm, when will this stun affect me? Can I react fast enough to avoid getting deleted by everything else that came after it on the server queue?". We had some unfair cases like the polymorph from whm or the stun + lb combo for MCH but I'do prefer those then trying to play this sluggish new pvp, its infuriating how painfully slow it is for damage to register.

    But oh yeah, why bother playing ranked past hitting diamond? There is no rewards anyway, unless you love getting plate number 1245484494 that doesn't change anything other than a small number lol.

    I love pvp a lot and all but if they don't adress this might as well just kill small scale pvp and ranked

    How to kill a successful pvp system in two days: do not playtest your massive changes which had no basis for even happening in the first place.

    I've never liked that saying, but I'll say it anyway: "don't fix it if it ain't broken and actually works". Please revert the changes asap.
