Revert Starry Muse not appearing on Limited visual effect setting

I play Pictomancer (and all of the jobs) with my effects and my party's effects set to Limited. I do not play with All effect for myself because I find the visuals extremely distracting, especially when using multiple abilities and spells during raid buffs.

With the recent change in 7.1, my personal Starry Muse field will no longer appear for myself with my effects set to Limited. I believe this change to be a bad one, as I am now forced to either guess where my field is during buffs, or play with all of my effects on-- there is no in between. If players don't want to see their own Starry Muse, that is what the effects Off option is for, not limited.

Black Mages can still see their (and others') Ley Lines with effects set to Limited, so why are Pictomancers different? As an accessibility option being taken away, I am very disheartened and not looking forward to playing this way for the foreseeable future. I am crossing my fingers, hoping for a hotfix for this glaring mistake.

Please revert, this was such a ridiculous change. I don't even play PCT at the moment and I WANT to see where my party member's grass is so I don't put an aoe in there.

Afaict no one has reported this on the Japanese bug tracker so there's a good chance they're still completely unaware of the issue. Bug reports have been made on the English bug tracker (https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...2-in-game-bugs) but it appears they haven't read those in a good while. If someone here can write Japanese it would probably help to make a bug report in the Japanese section. They should post a known issues post on https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/623-general once they're aware of it I think.

Unfortunately, this is not a bug. If you check the 7.1 patch notes, it clearly states under Pictomancer "The ground effect will no longer appear when battle effects are set to Show Limited". That is why I am hoping they revert this insane change.

Yeah my point. Why would you not want to put the dangerous AoE onto your party? Specifically the Dragoon, if you get a choice. You know they deserve it! (as in, I was making a joke :P )

As for the actual topic I dunno. But since for all practical intents and purposes the field is a Leylines just by another name, it really ought to have exactly the same behavior in regards to settings and all. However, this does mean that other players also cannot hide it, IIRC?

I am actually glad it is gone. As someone who plays on limited specifically because I do not want clutter, it was very annoying when there was more than one picto and Starry taking up screen real estate.

Does leylines still show up on limited? Because both of these should be visible.
