    What if they scrapped the armory/class and made it armory/jobs...this way we never have to worry about new classes being introduced or which jobs get tied to classes and multiple jobs having the same class skills...the jobs stand as they are and they could introduce new jobs and not worry about cross class multiple job issues. This too will allow them to give each job extra abilities and make more of them job specific only. So you still retain the armory feel of equiping a weapon and changing to the coresponding job and still have the ability to add abilities from other jobs tailored to solo or party play...of course it will require some more tweeking but I think its something that can work.

    Maybe part of the reason they made classes specific was because that was the quickest fix for the 1.0 short term.

    I wouldn't be surprised with the amount of items that they quote as too time/resource intensive for 1.X that this may have seemed the most expedient way to "fix" the issues without spending a ton of time on it.

    Thats why i'm willing to admit i can't even guess as to what and how classes could be in 2.0. We may find them changed greatly at some poine (2.0 release or later) to be more versitile in roles, or very different in alot of ways besides.

    I've already states what i'd like to see in classes with jobs on top. Wonder what they will be even half a year into 2.0
