Question. Does it effect your glamour plates at all?

Question. Does it effect your glamour plates at all?

There's no issue – for as long as we've been able to remove gear from the dresser at all, we've always been able to take things out of the dresser without disrupting any copies of those items on the plates.
You can also take advantage of it to add gear to a plate even while you're still using it as current gear, by putting it in, adding it to the plate and then taking it out to continue using it.

To my fellow collectors:
I've just learned FFXIV Collect (a checklist for collectors): https://ffxivcollect.com/outfits now supports glamour outfits as a feature!
Nothing like thinking you're done with MGP and you get this dropped on you:
(edit: these initial mgp values are a bit bugged. regardless, the checklist works and i'm happy -w-)

Just bumping this again because I thought about it again. It's clear the developers really do care about collectaholics, because the upcoming patch 7.5 changes are an even better step forward:
This is amazing. I'm already at around 300 glamour sets collected, and I'm eager to collect more via either the glamour chest or the armoire. The following additions and adjustments have been made to the armoire:
Class and job-specific gear can now be stored in the armoire.
* Certain class and job-specific weapons and tools are not applicable.
Gear obtained in instanced dungeons from Patch 7.0 and onward can now be stored in the armoire.
The "Artifact Armor" tab of the armoire has been renamed to "Class/Job Gear."
A "Dungeon Gear" tab has been added.
Following these adjustments to storage capacity, gear placed in the armoire that has been accessed at least once will now appear when performing an item search.
If this eventually expands out to all sets (raid gear, old dungeons), and maybe gets a fresh new UI, I seriously cannot understand how much life this would bring into the game.
Whichever dev came up with the glamour set idea (I suspect you used a really clever trick repurposing item id + stain metadata as set id + bitflags) deserves a raise.

Every dawntrail set supported by the armoire... every previous dungeon set supported by the glamour chest. You have outdone yourselves CS3.
I will note that the level 50 crafted DoH/DoL gear did get missed in the list of supported job gear for the armoire, but I'm otherwise very happy (though nervous that eventually the number of unlockable, non-duplicate sets will outpace the glamour chest's capacity)

Another recommendation from someone who loves this system but treats it more as a trophy collection than a wardrobe: I'd love to be able to store my bozjan/laws order/blades armor as glamour sets or in the armory.
I'd probably end up with a configuration like (per armor class)
Bozjan Set
Augmented Laws Order Set
Blades Set
