Come on now. Most people don't have houses, but would have FC rooms and apartments. A bit nonsense that it's not a thing from the get-go.

In the very least, a statement should be made on whether or not they're working on that for a later release.

Similarly, when they make the interior expansion changes in upcoming patches they should also do the same for apartments. It would seriously alleviate the lack of housing issue if folks could expand their interiors for apartments as well. If you really want a house in a neighborhood with a yard you'll continue to try for one, but if you just want a larger interior space then folks would have it. I've been talking about the implementation of that feature to apartments to my FC fellows and friends for almost as long as I've been playing as a potential way to address the housing shortage. I about dropped my jaw when they announced they were planning to allow the interior expansion of houses.

Came here to post this exact thing. I'm actually so annoyed! Why couldn't this feature possibly apply to apartments too? Literally what's the reason? I don't understand in the first place why they make having an apartment so weirdly limiting and punishing.

Ugh yes, now I'm worried the future supposed increase in items allowed inside won't apply to apartments or FC rooms.

Also... I thought we were going to get new interiors with the original ones having no pillars, and then some with pillars...? I thought pillars themselves would be a toggle.

Not... whatever this mess is. I dunno, the 'minimalist' style is the only one without pillars and it looks atrocious with many wallpapers. It's a massive, massive disappointment to me.
