Very slow download Speed of patch 7.1 (0.2 MB/s)

Just got back from work and started the FFXIV launcher.
Why is the my download speed for the patch so slow?

It is downloading at 0.2 MB/s, Time remaining: 864 minutes.

I have a 300 Mbit connection.
Downlads from other sources (like Steam or other websites) are fine.

I tried restarting the launcher and even rebooting the PC.

OK, so after restarting the launcher a few more times, the speed finally went up and the download finished in less than 8 minutes.

My friend is having this problem, and also getting "unable to download patch data". Spamming client restarts didnt work so far, hoping it gets better tomorrow.

I have the same problem and I despair of it!
I have never had any problems downloading patches. It's all the more annoying now. In addition, I have already tried everything, really everything, that is available on the Internet on this subject. I have unblocked the ports again, tried a VPN connection... Nothing has helped!

Works again normaly seem to be a routing or traffic problem to the servers, since it changed around midnight for me.
