The new minimalist interior design is great, I also used pure white wallpaper, light wood floors and the flat ceiling lamps to match the trim and the stairs. It's going to be fun decorating with this new interior design :3

I do hope they allow us to change the colors of the stairs, rails and trim to have other color choices in the future. Having no pillars already saves me dozens of slots from having to hide them. The trim also saves me dozens of slots as well and I'll figure out what to use for the windows but for now, I'm pretty happy with this new interior design. There is even space underneath the stairs in the basement, so that's also really neat. I'm also going to use all three floors and just have the basement empty until the furnishing limit expansion arrives to decorate :3


Oh, buy the pure white wallpaper, light wood floors and flat ceiling lamps from your local housing merchant since the MB already has people selling them for many times their cost of 5000 gil each lol.

Have you tried using the Blank Glade Partition and changing the wallpaper to Pure White?

All the blank partitions have the brown borders. You can't get the same effect.

That's unfortunate, hope they release matching partitions soon then.

Hopefully the correct partitions are released along with this design for apartments and FC rooms to use which I found odd didn't get.

The nearest partition solution I've found, though it is by no means the perfect solution, is the marble partition and its matching archway. You still need to dye it pure white to match the new wall (or alternatively, just do another colour entirely to create some interest). We do need a door that matches the marble partitions, and have for some time. And yes, we definitely need minimalist matching partitions, blank partitions, arch and doorways.

I love the minimalist look, the pillars from the other designs were always in awkward places for what I wanted to do. Now, however, I found a new (old) problem: some furnishings (such as partitions, or the Kitchen Cabinet) still stick out a mile from the wall. Previously I'd use partitions to try and mask this, I had hoped the new minimalist wall with less pillars would alleviate this problem, but it appears a lot of furnishings have kept a hit box(!), and have not been adjusted to fit in with the new style (or any style) more comfortably. I would really love for that to be removed from all furnishings, or at least greatly reduced so the furniture can fit flush to the walls. It's very tedious to have use up more of the furniture quota to fix things that should be standard. More freedom, less restriction, please!

The new design also gives smalls the added bonus of freeing up the space under the stairs making the basements a bit larger, I thought that was really neat. I hope they fix the issues of putting things against the walls.

Its excellent, this new minimalist design.

Though, I feel it wasn't tested much.

Existing partitions are miles too thick for doorways (mansion interior), there seems to be certain spots/entire areas on the floor where things can't be placed snug against the wall, such as certain furnishings like floor/rug/mats.

There are no matching minimalist partitions, partition-door, doors, windows, pillars to purchase, as of yet.

And as mentioned above, existing partitions and whatnot don't fit in well.

Massive /sigh.

I love the new design, but it kind of feels, wasted without matching furnishings!

What we need in the minimalist style, please:

Partition Wall (Both a standard style and a Blank style)
Partition Wall with functioning Door (dyable door and wallpaper-area of partition)
Door (matching, can be placed into the doorway of the set design, such as the top floor doorways in a mansion)
Interior Window
Pillar (Thin and Thick to match small areas and larger open areas of the interior)
Option to dye interior railings and trim (dreaming, but this game has over 30m players, let us dream big)

Thats just off the top of my head for basic must haves.
