If this isnt making it clear for you guys, square enix does not care 1 bit about anybody opinions. keep coping about 7.2.

Skill issue.
Seriously, if you can't use Purify (which now prevents Salted Earth and many other draw in / knockbacks) then it's not the devs fault.

Embrace Battle High

Did I miss something? Does purify negate all other CC that happen after the pull? Or the three other pulls that happen after? I thought the negate was like three seconds?
I hate the DRK play. The problem was never the DRK though. Problem was devs never balanced the skill around the DRK having 23 other players helping them.
Quite so. The "skill issue" argument has become thinner in 7.1 simply because the response to input has become more unpredictable. I do hope that wasn't intentional on the part of SQEX.
Skill issue, git gud.
It's skill issue for devs AND players tbh xD

Regardless of if it’s a “skill issue” or not the move is very clearly problematic. If you removed the draw in off salted earth then 80% of DRKs would probably quit the job because they’re only on it to abuse this one mechanic. Can it be avoided? Yes. Does that help you when you see 20 people with “skill issues” get draw in and instantly wiped out by a team that then all gets max battle high? No.
The blame lies completely on salted earth for being too effective at drawing in and too readily available. If they changed the draw in to a bind for anyone within the area of the salted earth it would solve half the balance issues with pre-made teams as they’d lose their effective grouping tool without undermining the general idea behind it being a crowd control ability.
There are other tools in the game for grouping but they’re not nearly as bad as DRKs. DNC for example has their LB, but unlike DRK it’s not as readily available due to the LB timer and the fact it has people slowly group up rather than just an instant pull makes it far more balanced.
I get that the devs balance around CC and not frontlines, but the fact they can’t see how bad this skill has gotten in that mode and done nothing is truly mind boggling.

It's not problematic at all, it just counters NA's tendency to stack up and zerg around. And because Dark Knight counters that hard, people consider it OP when it's easy to survive or avoid.
Defensively speaking -- supports should help out the team, melees have their defensives, and basic spacing should be enough.
Offensively speaking -- it's fun to blow up an entire alliance that's huddling together. What is the point of having 48 enemies to hit if you can't hit 48 enemies?
I do pvp stuff -- twitch.tv/gidsonBrand

It's time to learn.
