They really went for the Silent Hill/Resident Evil vibes on this one... There's quite a bit of unsettling details when you really stop to look. So thematically, it certainly is fresh.
Personally, I don't find much special about the bosses mechanically. The core things about the bosses just seem like massive AoE dodgefests and once you know what's coming, arguably 2 of them will be trivialized by your 2nd or 3rd run.
I was worried when they said that since the new dungeon is MSQ it wouldn't be as hard as the previous dungeons but it was still surprisingly fast paced and fun.
I love the vibes and the details. It's obvious they put effort into that. However... I still hate mechanics that make me lose control of my character. That's not fun.
"in before people complain it is too difficult"
I honestly found it quite dull, visually. When the first boss had Lindblum in their name I was hoping that the intro was referencing the forest from 9's intro, then we entered the lab, and exited back into ruined castles and such... instead we got... dirt, and more dirt, with some rocks. Music wasn't really memorable either (And im mentioning this because we have had banger dungeons like the twinning, Aetherfront, Smileton, Vanguard, and Ihuykatumu)
Battle-content wise, the bosses were really good, no complaints on that. I really enjoyed the final boss, with P5S beign one of my favorite savage fights, seeing some of Proto Carb recycled into a fun dungeon boss was pretty nice
Wold building wise it was... alright, I feel like they could have done a better job with the post-dungeon area, as we only walk trough a single hallway instead of beign able to interact with a few more things
My overall score would be 6/10, not a bad dungeon but not as good as it could be
Every bit of it was fun, and the lore is very sound.
Lol, I'm honestly surprised nobody has come here to complain about being unable to clear it yet. Maybe they are still stuck on Origenics/Alexandria.
Last boss is cheap using a yugioh trap card.https://www.db.yugioh-card.com/yugio...ope=2&cid=5400I honestly found it quite dull, visually. I can't be the only that sees the rock mobs resemble testicles and they overlap with the hound mob they look like a sperm. Some rick and morty phallic dungeon.
Actually I reckon it's because the loud aggressive abuse has drawn people away.
