They messed with the eyes again, and most egregiously they made the lips way too wide. The expression below is the worst example of this, they are way too wide and bend up exaggerated like cartoon mouths in every expression.

There is something seriously wrong with any kind of smile expression the miqote do, their mouths curve up way too much.
EDIT: And their lips are weirdly big this patch too.
Not a Miqote, but as a femlander, I will say I'd pay $100 to get my old face from before the graphics update back >_
I really, really, really was hoping they'd fix that with 7.1 but no luck. They more or less fixed the "philtrum", but all the other problems are still there.
I still have permanent resting bitch face. My eyes seem dead unless I'm extremely close up or my face is blasted with light from the front. My mouth is narrower. The sides of my nose are overly detailed. My subtle nose scar that I'd had since I started playing in 2016 is four times as thick and no longer something I can use. I do not play JRPGs of any kind just to have a realistic face!
I'm not against adding more options to facial features, in fact I welcome it, but this is a step backward.
I used to marvel at how good my character looked from practically any angle. Now it takes great effort to look good and I hate it. Several hours of Fantasiaing have done little to improve the situation.
Below is my pre-graphics update face, without any special expression or even posed lighting. I don't think I'll ever look this good again.
I want it back. ;_;
And below is post-graphics update. The eyes are one shade lighter, and the lighting is different, but there is no way that explains how insanely different this looks:

It's not just Miqo'te, it's everyone stuck with this new face (which is everyone because of their shiny new unified model system). The smile animations are uncanny and the artist seems to have gone with the most rudimentary "smile = upturned corners" without the outward stretching of a real smile.
Unfortunate to hear that it's a much bigger problem than I thought.
Wait….is this why Miqo’te face 4 keeps the mouth gap when smiling in cut scenes? I have been going crazy thinking I never had this problem before the graphics update, I felt like her mouth used to close like a normal smile during cutscenes and now she smiles like a social media influencer with only the corners of her mouth, allowing the mouth gap to awkwardly stay open.It's not just Miqo'te, it's everyone stuck with this new face (which is everyone because of their shiny new unified model system). I eventually just switched to a face with a closed mouth because it bothered me so much. Am I just being nit picky or was this happening before 7.0 and I just wasn’t paying attention?

There is a lot of weirdness going on around the eyebrows now too :/
