    Has anyone found a solution for PS4 controller not working with bluetooth i dont play on steam but my charger port on mine is pretty much bad and won't stay connected unless held a specfic way?

    I haven't had an issue with mine connecting since 7.1 and I think it's because I use DS4Windows, it's just a little program that remaps the controller inputs as a virtual Xbox controller which some games play nicer with. You can change the button layout in XIV to reflect PS4 buttons if you can't wrap your head around the xbox layout like me.

    I started using it years ago because without my game always used to detect a "Wireless Controller" but no inputs from it, DS4W was the solution - I've just stuck to it since. Before 7.1 I did used to get both the Wireless Controller (that doesn't work) and the Xbox controller in my XIV options, but I don't think I've seen the non-DS4W controller since patch...

    I posted one. You don't need to play FFXIV on steam (and buy the game), you need to start steam and launch ffxiv as a external game from steam.

    They'll fix it in 7.11 but I think everyone should consider to buy a ps5 controller.
    The black friday is in 2 weeks, and the new controller is much better (NO need to buy the $150 edge). Also the USB adapter is out of stock or sold for $100+, so it makes no sense to buy it in 2024.
