    The changes are good but they are nothing to write home about.
    • Dark Missionary 5% phys mit is nice, but it doesn't change the fact that Divine Veil and Shake often out-absorb DM against magic damage without even counting the healing. They could have made DM and HoL universal 10% and nothing in the game would break given how strong shake and veil are.
    • Healing on Carve is good in so far as you never have to press AD ever again unless you're doing a dungeon, but that's about it. Aurora going from 1200p to 1800p means that GNB got a higher HPS buff than DRK, which is kind of funny.
    • I guess we are now buffing potencies on top DPS tanks for some reason.
    • Dark Mind is now in a good spot at least.

    There is still a litany of problems with the job, not least of all is how dead the rotation is between the 2min bursts. At very least put Carve and AD on a 30s c/d so we have something to press, and now that Aurora got buffed can we get a 150p/tick regen on Oblation?

    These made DRK #1 tank for FRU. It was already best tank when there is downtime ala trios and now their burst got buffed more for some reason?

    Mit changes are also nice enough to be useful.

    This does however bring up the question, why did GnB need those changes to Double Down in the first place?
    Was Double Down ever even the issue? Or is it the 3 cartridges and resulting issues with resource generation in fights that have heavy melee downtime?

    These changes a good but adresses only a few issues.
    DRK is slowly losing its identity of "Magic specialized tank" with the physical damage mitigation. Ironically, it's also reducing Oblation's efficacity by burying within even more mitigations.
    Healing only affects dungeons and trashpack, nothing incredible. If anything I believe it should've been a shield instead of flat healing.
    DRK still remains boring during the filler phases.

    The changes are good but it's nowhere amazing or as good as 6.1 changes.

    Only Paladin and Warrior are at that level, Dark Knight and Gunbreaker can't keep themselves alive unless they only pull single packs... which isn't going to happen. Now if they lowered the cooldown of Abyssal Drain to 30 seconds THEN Dark Knight would be on that level.

    Hopefully 7.2 addresses DRK's MP issue and downtime between its bursts. Overall good buffs but are at band-aid level, doesn't fix DRK but at least they didn't ignore the job this go around.
