FFXI PlayOnline Adventurers' Survey 2024 - Awareness

*Posting this here to bring attention/awareness to many FFXI players (current/past) that may not see this otherwise*

I would like to bring attention to a FFXI Adventurers' Survey 2024 currently on FFXI's PlayOnline main site.

Items such as what they would like to see added to the future of the game and suggestions how to make improvements.

I know there are many of us here that are still currently playing FFXI or have played FFXI many years ago. To us this game means a lot and I would like for our voices to be heard. To make suggestions for the game's future. Perhaps to breath new life into the game showing how many of us still care.

i own FF11 on steam though i've never played it outside the first month, if it wasnt for the monthly subscription i wouldnt mind going back and trying it again

That's a great point. That could be something to include in the survey suggestions.

The game was initially released May 16, 2002. Making the game over 22 years old now.

Maybe the monthly subscription is too high with the game this old and alienating people that would otherwise want to play the game.

Lower monthly subscriptions or a higher initial price with no monthly subscriptions could raise player counts. More players overall would be be a win-win.

yea its always been a wonder why they haven't ever offered people who are subbed to 14 specific discounts to 11 and its sub as a way to try to get people to try the game.

I think they did offer the discount for a time if you subbed to both during 1.0 but stopped. If they did a bundle of FFXIV and FFXI that was, say $20 for the base service & 1 character in FFXI with the regular sub in FFXIV (and also accounted for legacy accounts with the discount for FFXIV so they kept the base sub price they have for XIV), I would look at playing XI again. I wanna say that the way they have XI's sub setup is part of the reason why they can't bundle them ATM and steps may be underway behind the scenes to allow a bundle in the future.

It wasn't a discount, it was a linked payment for both XIV and PO.
You'd get the ugly Hermes' Shoes as a bonus if you did lol.

I was surprised they made a survey about what people would like to see for the future of ff11 wish ff14 would do surveys as well. The survey does give me even slight hope for the future of ff11 and potentially investing more into it.

I never played FFXI but would like to try it out if it weren't for the current sub prices it still goes for. If they bundled the sub for both FFXIV and XI for say, $20 a month, I would most likely pay that combined sub.
