SCH is a healer

Why does not it heal?

WHM and AST do heal, no need for LB.

It can heal without diminishing it's identity as a DoT healer.

Sage is in a similar spot.

Seraph heals ten times better than anything other healers do have, precisely because it's a LB and it provides free purifies on the whole team as well. It's not even comparable.

SCH is an armchair tactician, the whole idea behind the job is debuffing the enemy teams on damage and buffing yours on damage. You also provide party wide shields which is nothing to scoff at, and mummification is crazy good. Adloquium still heals though, even if it's not much, and the base shield gained alongside isn't bad either. SCH is a barrier healer, not a raw healer, and does fulfill that role pretty well.
SGE plays more like a DPS, but still offers shielding solutions, but it's not a support healer like SCH is.
