You can always give unsolicited advice, it's always morally correct
Throne and liberty does that so guessing you played that lol.





You sort of already can do that with adding a Free Company crest to your armour by speaking to the 'Officer at Arms' in the relevant Grand Company HQ, but that's only if you're a member of a FC which has unlocked that ability (and which the owner has decided to make one, which if they haven't it defaults to the crest of whichever nation that FC is aligned to).
Unfortunately you can't choose exactly where the crest goes on armour, SE makes that choice (usually on body armour it goes on the shoulder or pauldron if the body piece has them, otherwise it might be on the chest or belly - shields and some hats and helmets can also have it added to).
Also going into instanced duties such as dungeons disables the crest completely (although it does display in cutscenes oddly).
I do think the problem isn't the idea but the system the game runs on remember the game is old so it cannot do everything you might want it due to limitation if they want to change they will have alot more work then worth it
