DirectX Error Messages leading to Game crashes

Whenever I am playing the game I randomly get DX11 Error messages which force shutdowns the game. I also get random crashes without any error/warning beforehand.

Fixed:
Updated Windows to an unstable/beta build seems like the game is running fine now.
For the ones still having DX11 issues, try to reinstall the latest windows update with the guide here:
Guide on reinstalling latest windows update
And if there is an possibility to run the beta/unstable build, try that option if the guide above did not help.

Windows build: 22H2 19045.5073

Looks like the dx11 file (d3d11.dll) got coruppted somehow in the previous version. But since it is a built in Windows feature now, I could not uninstall it or delete the dll without exposing the system too much since the file is nested in sys32. My hypothesis is that the unstable version somehow repaired/reinstalled the file which fixed the issue that I was having.

Tried to repair the .dll with the installation setup but that did not work. And as far as my knowledge goes, there is not a dedicated repair tool besides /sfc scannow which for some reason did not detect the corruption.

• Restarted Steam
• Run FFXIV as Admin
• Restarted PC
• Reinstalled FFXIV
• Reinstalled GPU Drivers
• Win8 compatibility mode
• Basic Windows troubleshooting like /dism and /sfc
• Reinstalling latest windows update
• Updated BIOS
• Moving the game to the OS Drive

FF14 has a chance to crash when not installed on or ran from the OS drive.
Try installing the game onto the C drive and see if that helps clear up the issue.

Already fixed the issue with it being the dx11 .dll being corrupt and managing to evade the sfc scans. Updated windows to a Beta build and the game seems to work fine now.

Regarding the CPU issues, I have updated my bios to the latest version and currently running on Intel defeault settings. If the game still crashes, then I will have to RMA the CPU as you've mentioned or consider swapping to AMD.
