Didn't really have a lot of time to read the entire thread to see what all has been said, so I'll just mention my expectations to be fixed as support towards those that have already been said:

1.) A more practical order of recipes. Completed gear should not have a rank cap lower than the materials needed. For instance if a piece of armor is a rank 10 recipe, then all the mats needed should be lower rank recipes, and that includes materials from other DoH classes. I understand the idea of depending on other crafters, but I'm sure not everyone will want to raise every crafting job to 50 considering how long it is taking me just to get one rank. That being said, if Im making armor thats rank 20 and it needs materials from a different craft, I want that material to also be 20 or less. Now say once I start getting in the 30s or 40s, I may not actually bother to keep sub crafts up to par, but at least I will know that if I need to make a rank 40 armor, the materials I need will be rank 40 or less.

2) As stated above, it seems to take a long while to get a DoH class up, not as fast as a DoW or DoM seems to rank up. I feel like the amount of skill points rewarded for a synth should increase by a percentage based on current rank and the rank of the recipe. Getting 500 skill for a recipe 6-7 ranks above me at rank 26 seems small for the higher risk of a fail.

3) I want a definitive description of what Control, Craftsmanship, Mag. Craftsmanship, Gathering, Output, and Perception actually do. I don't mind a challenge, but I also can't stand hidden stats where it is still a guess as to what they do. Not to mention of what part the basic attributes like STR, MND, INT, etc play as a crafter. This is all right now just done with theorycrafting, which is becoming more annoying and boring than making crafting fun. I would also like some sort of clue as to whether a recipe would benefit more from using a primary or secondary tool as well as if a recipe is a Mag. Craft or Craft.

4) More diverse crafting gear with more options. I seem to be using more crafting gear that favors all DoH & DoL rather than gear that favors specific classes.
