I personally think the set looks great, granted it is right up my alley and style, so there is some bias to it.
I do however think that people generalise "casual" clothing too much. If we take the latest Halloween glam for example, last time I actually saw people wearing clothes like that was at a metal / rock concert, I barely see people wearing that in day-to-day life, so I wouldn't really classify it as "casual".
Comparing it to the other PvP glam sets, which, imho, are more closer to tech-wear; I wouldn't classify as "casual" attire either, teach-wear a niche fashion that I also barely see in my day-to-day life.
Same for this one honestly. It gives me 90's / early 00's vibes, and although (at least over where I am at), there's been a rise in this style under the younger people it's still far from common.
For me casual is a simple t-shirt, straight jeans and some sneakers. But I guess that's different for everyone.
The same can be said for wanting more fantasy-inspired glams. Some people want full-on heavy armour, others want cloth or leather. The fact remain is that whatever they decide to release, people are going to be upset. I'm willing to make a bet that if they instead released a full on heavy-armoured glamour, people would have complained too.
Anyway, what I actually mean is: Fashion is a huge landscape, and lumping different styles together and calling it "casual" is kind of unfair as the styles they've released are vastly different from one another from a fashion point of view.
I find the Halloween outfit meh to decent, it's not my style but I can find a few uses for it.
I find the older PvP glams to be okay. Again, not fully my style.
This new set however feels like it was made for me.
There's so much more nuance to fashion and style than just casual and non-casual.
