Where is our item space increase promised PRE-DT?

I hate to sound entitled, but I distinctly recall there being mention PRE- DT that we were going to get an increase of item limit to our housing scene. [Correct me if I'm mistake]

So why has that been silent and seemingly unmentioned come post Dawntrail?

I actively looked forward to hearing more of it, and knowing how much each would be increased to. We haven't had an increase since Stormblood.
I think its time for one, and more so than ever with that new empty looking minimalist look they're going to implement. It is NICE, but also isn't an item space increase as mentioned.

PLEASE PLEASE, don't forget about the item increase, and please just put it in. We've waited so long, and desperately need this.

Last they said was either 7.2 or 7.3.

7.1 on Tuesday will give the interior style update.

Do we got proof of where that's been mentioned? All i recall is them saying 7.X but saying after DT, not necessarily giving an exact number however. If it is true, i'll be happy, but i cant help but feel they'll try and deflect with something else.

I know the interior being any size is coming later perhaps in those patches, but not the ITEM LIMIT. item space.

You obviously haven't been paying attention to the latest Live Letters and it shows.....

It was mentioned specifically in the last Live Letter that the furnishing limit expansion will arrive in 7.2 or 7.3

There is also a digest they release within the week or so of any Live Letter with translations.

The digest actually helped clarify things, because when they said “one or two more patches,” initially a lot of early translations thought that was referring to interior size update and not item limits.

The are looking into increasing the housing item limit - much like a parent might look into getting you a pricey Christmas toy and after they look at the budget..maybe you get it...maybe you don't

Just saw someone post this somewhere else, so I went to double-check. Note the wording “in an estate.” Won’t be shocked at all if it’s interior limits only. But much as I’d like a few more outdoor slots, the interior is more important to me, so at least we know that’s coming.

I mean its nice to let us know what they are "trying" to do. I do hope the item limit is increased but people REALLY gotta stop throwing around the word "promised" as promise usually entails a assurance it will happen. Khryseis did a great job capturing the latest update verbatim.

*We are working to* does not mean it is gonna happen; it means they are trying to figure out how to make it work without stuff exploding. Its further driven home by the fact that they cannot tell you WHICH patch it will be in...essentially just saying "later"

The language is vague explicitly because they are NOT promising anything; but they are trying to deliver something we are asking for.
