    Xhadial's DoL Wishlist

    I'm sure most, if not all, of these have been mentioned before - but I just want to put them all in one place.

    Miner & Botanist
    Considering that the Actions of these two are identical - and therefore the Icons are similar to their counterparts: Can we get new Icons for [Solid Reason] and [Ageless Word]?
    (For Ageless Word, perhaps having hand holding a leaf - rather than some random old dude?)

    Fisher - (This one'll have a lot)
    The button bloat is real with this one! Can we get some Action change here?
    - Cast: Action change settings enabled to switch [Cast] to [Hook I] while line is cast.
    - Patience: Action change settings enabled to switch [Hook II] to [Precision Hookset] - and - [Hook III] to [Powerful Hookset] while under the effect of [Patience].
    - Mooch: Action change settings enabled to switch [Mooch (100GP)] to [Free-Mooch] while under the effect of [Mooch Ready]. [Mooch Ready] applied upon landing certain large-sized fish of while under [Makeshift Bait].

    Diversity: We need more non-water fishing! Obviously, I understand that Freshwater and Ocean fishing locations are going to be the most common. But honestly, the fact that we cannot go Hellfishing at Hell's Lid is an omission so egregious that it should be criminal.
    - Aetherfishing in the Ceruleum Fields of N. Thanalan.
    - Saltfishing within the Salt Strand of L. La Noscea. (aside from the existing Ocean location)
    - Cloudfishing in Ishgard & the Empyreum.
    - Starfishing in the Cradle of Darkness (or the fissures) of Mare Lamentorum.
    ::Ideas for New Environs::
    - Sulphurfishing around Duergar's Tewel in NE Kholusia.
    - Levinfishing from the levin-geysers of Heritage Found.
    Additionally, perhaps when de-synthesizing these fish would give crystals other than Water Crystals.
    - Hellfish would give you Fire Crystals.
    - Dunefish would give you Earth Crystals.
    - Cloudfish would give you Ice Crystals.
    - Skyfish would give you Wind Crystals.
    - Aetherfish would give you Lightning Crystals.

    Fish Guide: Please update the Fish Guide so that it actually show relevant information. Knowing that a fish as a weather or time restriction is great and all - but it doesn't tell you what they actually are! At least updated that information after we've caught one of the fish.

    Moochable Fish: Add an icon to the fish that are mooch eligible, either in the Fishing Log or on the Release List. (Preferably on the Release List.)

    Spearfishing Gig: Even if it's not brought up to the same level as the other secondary tools - at least a few upgrades to this?
    - Also, add some more diving locations in and around La Noscea. Around the Salt Strand, Bloodshore, Sapsa Spawning Grounds.

    Tacklebox: As has been mentioned 100x already. It wouldn't need to hold every single piece of bait, but at least the lures. Ideally it would be similar to the Armoury Chest - with different tabs for different environs.
    (Chocobo Saddlebags are inaccessible while Ocean Fishing and Diadem, so if you forget to move the bait over you can't use them.)


    Llymlaen's Favor: Change the name of [Thaliak's Favor] to [Llymlaen's Favor]. (As has been mentioned is other posts)
    Miner's have [Nald'thal's Tidings] not only because he's the God of Material Wealth, but also because he's the Patron Deity of Ul'dah, the home of the [Miner's Guild].
    Botanist's have [Nophica's Tidings] not only because she's the Goddess of Nature, but also because she's the Patron Deity of Gridania, the home of the [Botanist's Guild].
    Fisher's should have [Llymlaen's Favor/Tidings] not only because she's the Goddess of Navigation and the Tides, but also because she's the Patron Deity of Limsa Lominsa, the home of the [Fisher's Guild].

    Can we also add Prospect and Triangulate to be active all the time on both miner and botany classes? I hate that prospect shuts off and you have to manually reactivate it every time I switch to botanist and same with triangulate when I switch to miner. Jet let us have them both active always. If we can have prospect active on botanist and triangulate active on miner anyway, it seems silly to deactivate it every single time we change classes.

    I just want to be able to see miner and botany nodes both when I am out gathering without having to change classes or toggle them on constantly.

    I am a big fan of just having gathering/crafting actions instead of actions for particular classes. They all do the exact same thing, why do they need to have icons unique to the class? just combine them and have a leaf and a rock or an axe and a pick and call it a day. The current system of different icons and sometimes even names for the exact same thing on only 2 classes whos only different is standing at a rock or a tree is so pointless.

    Perhaps, but I can also understand the mindset of leaving it up to the player whether or not they want the off-class Gathering Role Actions up. At minimum, I would be in favour of an option that auto-activates the off-class "Truth of" ability.
    (Personally, I have all of my Class/Jobs on macros, so my Miner/Botanist macros include activating the off-class "Truth of" after changing.)

    Agreed, especially as they already do this with the Crafters. (When using /micon "xx Synthesis/Touch" in a macro, the icon will change depending on which Crafter is equipped.)
