Need an Auction House

I want some evidence that says that we NEED an AH over the current system besides the tired "All MMOS have an AH"

Takes slightly longer to buy items: after searching and clicking on your item, the buying process would be over in an AH system. In the market wards, you still have to run to the retainer, and possibly switch wards.

Takes longer to sell items, especially multiple items: if you don't remember all the prices after multiple price-checks, you'll have to take multiple trips between the search counter and your retainer. Having to trade the items you want to sell to your retainer also adds extra time. In an AH system, all this price-checking would be done without moving from the counter and there would be no trading.

Do we need to scrap the retainers and make a real Auction House? No, probably not. I do not think so.

Do the market wards need to evolve into a system where everything can be done from the search counter and you don't even need to step into the wards themselves? If this system wants to appeal to most MMORPG players and wash off the anger the wards created, most likely.

Honestly it's not even a matter of functionality anymore. This game has a lot of bad press to get rid of. Keeping one of the systems that was complained about since conception in any way that reminds you of the original concept doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

I had an idea, classic auction house to link 3 main cities and further cities as they are opened up. then move all market wards to the outposts and small world map towns and have the market wards be linked only in their zone, but no matter where in the zone they are.

this has already been posted but more threads about it may just get there eye and make them work on it harder to get it done quciker. I dont see why people keep yapping about getting it now they said there bring it out god people gave them a chance to work on the game. everyone is yapping about them fixing this and that never happy, just incase people didnt noticed the game was down for a while there because japan was hit bad and it's great the world comes to together to help them out alot but yet on these fourms all i seem to read is peopling bitching about what they want when they don't need it right now the market place will do us for now.
