Most likely the last attempt to fund Exvius before SE inevitably shuts it down like 90% of there mobile games.

Are these the glams? LOL. LMAO even. They look like something you'd get early on in ARR.I'm gonna be serious, they don't even look good. There's a serious lack of luciousness and fullness (or polish. A lack of care, really.) in both of them.
Just look at the comparison between Mont's feather cape and the one in XIV -- maybe lay down the damn ozempic for 2 seconds and make them fuller looking. This is thin and dull for a paid cosmetic.
*Then* I'll consider buying it, but they'll probably be genderlocked for no reason, so it's a no anyway.
It's not to the same level as the korean exclusive dress atleast, but it's not any better.
On further inspection. They DO look really plain compared to the art. Especially the dress.
Please dont buy it and support their shameless cash grab.
If they made them big like the artwork I'd probably be a little "aww man" but given as they are, they seem very regular.. Not that I'm saying "yay I love cash shop" just that I don't really feel opportunity cost / loss. Big epic floofy armor, maybeI'm gonna be serious, they don't even look good. The dress seems to have lost a cloak and the detailed hairstyle of the original character, but I think the light is washing out a lot of the detail too.
I don't see any reason to get more upset about a cash shop crossover than any other random outfit they want to invent for the cash shop – most likely I won't get it either way, but if I do it's just going to be on the basis of the outfit looking nice on its own terms, regardless of its source.
The original art on both outfits look like they rely on the capes to make them look fuller and more impressive. XIV lacks cape physics, so that's not gonna translate well.
So, easy passes from me.
I looked up the characters for some better reference pictures.

Out of the three outfits shown, I think they picked the worst one to translate into FFXIV gear. The drape of red fabric on the chest is supposed to be part of the cape and spread more down the arm, but that probably wouldn't play nicely with how outfits are assembled here.
The other armoured outfit probably would have translated better, and I would have preferred to get the non-armoured outfit with the red tunic and white undershirt – that's my favourite sort of design for fantasy menswear and one we surprisingly don't have yet.

All three of her dresses look nice but this is probably the one that translates best, besides having to convert the cloak to hanging straight. The pink one would probably be quite stiff and the tutu would end up more like the Songbird dress or risk going the way of the Quaintrelle's skirt.

I would guess they made this awhile ago and are putting it out now before they inevitably cancel War of Visions, like they have cancelled every other of their mobile gacha games. One more boost of revenue for the mobile gacha before they shutter it and the glam no longer is relevant to the market.
I'm still salty about them closing Dissidia: OO, don't mind me.

OH ok, I'll edit my first post, the point still stands.Oh, silly me, I hadn't even seen the glam until now and thought it was actually for Brave Exvius (which did indeed get shut down), and not for War of the Visions (...which is probably limping along).
While I stand corrected, I also stand less than impressed because these are just bleh... but then I also admit that for the brief time I played WotV, I didn't care for any of the original cast and only played it for the guest characters that came from other Final Fantasy games. I think the game even launched with Y'shtola as the first one.
