Any chance these are getting an overhaul at some point in 2.0? I'd love to see the shield idea replaced with a-here it comes- Pearl design like in XI. It made a lot more sense to call it a "linkpearl" when it was actually a pearl. At the very least some new colors/patterns/logos would be a welcome addition to the, currently, bland LS icon display.

I'm hoping so. when I made my shell i spent a couple of hours on the loadstone looking for unused designs that I liked and managed to find the one my shell runs with.

seeing 4 or 5 shells running around with the same shield now (admittedly I think one came with the server merge) I just wish it was something I could design myself. get a blank shield and make my own logo with it. or at the very least have a hundred more color options

I did the same, but only for Fabul back in the day. At first we used the black crest with two white stripes, but there were two other shells with the same one that popped up, so that crest had to go.

Don't know about the linkshell icons, but I hope we can make our own free company icons.

Thumbs up to adding more combinations, colors, symbols, or overall design changes. That being said, unfortunately, it's unlikely that we will have be able to design our own crests due to the TTP dilemma. On a side note.... Sorry Molly, I think our linkshell was one of the ones that stole that design, unintentionally of course. ^.^;

Actually, thanks! I've come to really like the purple and yellow, it stands out quite well.
