(Chaotic) Cloud Of Darkness Release Date Is A Joke?

Why does SE release content like this on Christmas? Its the one holiday (most) people share and are away seeing family for. Not to mention 99% of groups that are attempting FRU will not be done.

This can all be avoided if SE would just move it up by 2-4 weeks and release it mid jan-end of jan or.... Just release it before FRU!!

The timing may be a little different because SE will probably take a holiday at some point.

(Also, scratch the 7.16 thing, they probably mean the quest will become available a week later like seasonal events, because that's how they do savage now in .2 and .4 patches).

I'm not a raider, but I think the problem lie with joining a static progression group. You begin 2 weeks later and people that began day one will be very probably won't want to restart the learning process from scratch. Or it will be hard to find groups to run the content if you begin searching 2 weeks after everyone.

i dont get it you dont have to do it day one most will not clear it until the next year anyway so whats the issue

It remains to be seen if it will even need anything resembling a static. They seemed to imply it wouldn't and that it may not even require the level of coordination provided by BA/DRS discords:

- They said there will be random reward bonuses on different data centers, motivating us to DC travel to PF it. Which suggests they do expect it to be PF'd.
- They said there will be rewards for helping first timers through it. So hopefully their intention is it is realistic, and not too tedious, to help a first timer through it.
- 12 is a rather specific number. If it's possible to enter with 12 people it sorta hints the mechanics can be done with 12 and that therefore only 12 people have to be totally competent at the fight and the other 12 can be sorta carried, but we'll have to see.

If this raid is going to require a standard progression static, then it's going to be an abject failure.

This whole thing is massively disrespectful towards the players of the game, and this community fails to never amaze me with the double standard.

I can't run extremes or savages blind more than one week after release without being forced to watch a guide or having a party member regurgitate said guide in party chat after one/two wipes and enjoy the actually interesting part of fight design - a.k.a learning the actual fight, so no. It's not an option to *not* play it early for people like me. So I guess I just don't get to play this.

Enjoy your content, but please for the love of god stop defending every single thing this development team does.
