    Is this like a fire notes version of what I wrote with minor additions? I don't see anything here that inherently disagrees, just some things that I don't think are relevant to the conversation like P2W.

    You want convenience for something that requires some effort. The core mechanic of a p2w model is creating convenience for something that you find inconvenient.

    So, even if you don't really enjoy the type of content you can still find ways to get carried. You wouldn't be the first nor the last that gets carried in end content, being UR, Savage or even Ultimates just for bragging/glam reasons.

    I dont think you read the whole post. I didn't disrupt the system that we already have, in fact technically asked for one system to be slightly less easy.

    I'm not sure the problem is that they're making this content. The problem is the resources it seems to take to develop it vs what the game arguably needs to satisfy more than just the hardcore fans right now.

    Ex/savage is done by a good chunk of the active playerbase, why tf should they stop making the few scraps of actual content ??? I'll be blunt, people talk too much out of their bum while discussing savage, content which they don't even engage with to begin with so how would they know.

    Where's the data for this? Do Ultimates and Savage have more player participation than normal or alliance raids? What about exploratory zones? I'd like to see the metrics along with use of third party tools.

    Of course the team and you will not produce them, because you want a game catering to a small % of players. You really don't have to argue about it. This team is going to keep catering to you regardless of logic or even revenue.

    For players I think we have to go off who has the achievements public, which I think it's like 35% for EX, 20% for savage and under 10% for ultimate.
    SE can see the full numbers. Those pieces of content definitely are not wide appeal content and are increasingly niche as you go up in difficulty. I do find it strange they center as much as they do around that niche, but maybe they think casual players want glam updates instead of dungeons.

    There's no metric that's the point, you saying it's only for a small portion of the playerbase is just as bs.
    Still, you could even just take a look at people's gear in every form of content, and you'll see plenty of savage one. You know, if you want to know who to buff as an ast or who is likely to perform better, or even fail..

    I mean there is Lucky Bancho, which uses achievements, and is probably what VerdeLuck is referring to. From my memory it was like 10 - 20% for Savage and 3 - 10% for ultimate, range given different servers. Equally basically what they said when put together.
