Perhaps i missed a note about it, but i thought this was being revamped? What happened to it? Anyone know if this is still going to come back?

Same fate as Astragalos, it's never coming back.
Damn, I know some people hated it, but I always enjoyed the map. That's a shame...

They removed the whole map instead of just taking away Monk's knockback skill (and machinist's shorter range one), that's the whole reason. They also replaced the ice map (Shatter) to stop the same thing regarding players going for knock-over-cliff-kills. Sadly now though, the new nerfed version of the ice map (now with totally coincidentally lower cliffs!) which is technically awful, has since arguably and ironically become the 'best map' because the devs refuse to fix the DRK salted earth exploit, which is less workable/effective on the new ice map.
Maybe it's like Diadem and it's going to come back as a gathering zone.
We haven't heard anything about it since they took it out. I miss it a lot tbh, it was my favorite along with Onsal, and I really started to get better at Frontlines because the little bit of traveling back and forth gave people time to chat and explain how PVP worked to newbies. It was the first map I got BH5 in. =[
I remember Secure well. It was a bad map, and the design was bad. And the gameplay was a decent idea but it was badly executed. And matches frequently timed out due to a lack of points. And everything about it was pretty miserable unless you were a monk who could knockback an entire team to their deaths in one hit - the only source of dopamine in that soulless husk of a map. And no one would queue for it when it was Secure day because you'd be bored out of your gourd the entire time. A rework won't cut it considering the current abilities we have and considering how long the travel times were (due to the HUGE mountain clogging the center of the map). They will have to completely redesign the map and try something else if they're keeping the mechanics.
Oh yeah this one was another badly designed map. Due to the layout, mechs and mammets took 25 business days to get from one side of the map to the other. Also (I think it was Falcons) if you rolled a specific team, the layout of the map made it so mechs could attack the core of the enemy with incredible efficiency compared to the other teams' ability to - no amount of skill could save you from it. Essentially if you didn't roll the team w/ the map advantage it was easier to throw the match and re-queue. Of course everyone thought *that* was super fun and definitely didn't complain for years before the devs (instead of fixing it) took it out of the game to put it in purgatory forever.
