Thank you for this FOMO note in the Fall Guys Event

One of the things that I feel FFXIV does better than most major MMOs, that I hope they continue to do, is not play as much (or at all, if possible) FOMO mind games.

Comparatively better, I said "at all if possible" because I think the statues (which are expensive) approach FOMO, especially as physical items, especially (x2) as limited quantity items are extremely susceptible to scalping. (Perhaps an internal system that if an item can't be reprinted it will at least Cash Shop after X time)

WoW has done FOMO A LOT, and while it appears a bit less now, is comparatively still a lot more than FFXIV. Not a total dunk on WoW comment though as there are things I appreciate they're doing, and might cause me to boop my roleplay thread again, cause it means a lot to me, but I can think of at least 6 distinctive times where I saw something REALLY cool and then felt horrible quickly there after cause I found out its gone. Stripped out of the game just 'cause'.

In this context I've always said you should avoid doing the opposite of what you said you'd already do (if something was explicitly said to be exclusive), but I also think nothing should be exclusive... and technically you can change your opinion later, but expect upset people lol. I am okay with the use of timed exclusivity (temporarily limited) or rotational if you want, but I appreciate and hope the game continues to be light to basically no FOMO (ideally none).

Put here because it's related to the website, but the feedback just applies to the general management of the game as well and not just the website:

Rotational content is fine, but like emotional squeezing (via FOMO) is not appreciated at all. So not only is it rotational, but you've been informed the intentionality of it not to be like "better get it before it's going, we're going to squeeze you like a cash pig, OINK OINK". "We'll hurt you for having a life outside of us". Rather it's "We intend for it to come back but we don't have a date set yet", that's a lovely message for which I noticed it.

As it does make me feel like a manipulated farm animal when I see a digital game doing that type of FOMO thing, this isn't a physical resource we have to manage, you can 'print' items in a digital world lol.

    Thank you.

It's said that the previous two times it was here.
The irregular tomestones from the moogle events kinda informs anyone who's been playing a while about when they'll bring in the Fall Guys event.
If you don't get everything this time, it'll be back.

This is the least FOMO-ish thing I can think of in regards to limited content this game has had.

Not sure if you're rebutting or agreeing. My post isn't made with sarcasm, though the title may have been better adding the word "anti" FOMO note. The note, to me, is saying "don't worry about FOMO, though we don't have a fixed date when it comes back.. it will". So- that's a good thing.

Anything more FOMO is certainly worse, less FOMO (or none) is best.

There was some ambiguity, for sure.

Right on, I got the sense of it from reading your comment and then looking back at my title.

This post is SE did good, generally does good, comparatively, and maybe a minor poke at the statues (or other physical centric items) but overall good.
