Please stop making male glamour looking like female clothes.

With apologies to the LGBTQ+, theres men in this game that want their characters to look like men and dress like men. I dont mean you ppl should get your female glamours taken away from you, SE should make a male and female version and allow both of then to be used by any character, like the Thavnarian glamour from Heavensward.

If doing two version isnt acceptable, please make men be mainly in their glamours, its the minimum we who want to play as mainly characters, need.

At this point I've gotten so used to being disrespected as a male, non-WHM, healer in XIV. Nearly every healer piece is a dress or long coat with bows and frills. At one point I was upset about it, now I just expect it. Dawntrail has released the same white and red long coat (that looks like a dress from the back) three times in a row so far. Not to mention that the design team seems to be getting high off of putting ties and frills on everything at the moment, the gear team desperately needs some new blood.

I also like dressing in more traditional male-designed clothing.

Some work out okay but there were other times were I feel the clothing was specifically designed for women - such as EW White Mage AF armor where I looked like a wedding cake, and the Moonward armor. While it was designed after a female character (Rydia), I was disappointed that they made no adjustments for a male to wear it.

I do like that there are options for different tastes, but we shouldn't have AF gears or entire tiers that seem geared only to one sex.

I am a big bulky Roegadyn, and this game doesn't have enough big bulky shoulderpads to accomodate me.

I have the samenissue with some of the newer gloves.
Why can't i toggle of nails?
I like the gloves, but I don't want to have my nails dyed >_> ruins the piece for me(example the new halloween gloves)

As per OP I’m not really sure where we are getting a huge amounts of glamour that makes males look like females compared with glams that make males look distinctly masculine (I guess WHM is the exception)

I’m gay but I specifically want my character to look masculine; however I also like him to show skin sometimes and I feel like the gender divide doesn’t allow males to show skin and instead goes for boring versions of the well designed female gear

If it’s a distinctly gendered item (like say the valentines maid vs Buttler outfit) both genders should be able to wear both versions but right now they seem to just not like having males show skin and instead they get boring versions of the well designed female outfits. Then of course there is distinctly biased classes (WHM could never be a male) but I think that’s a different problem
