I love playing as a red mage. FF14 is the only game with red mage... except FF11. However, FF11 is so difficult to install due to its complicated client.

My own circle of friends. The 'things that should not be named'. (E)RPing in general, which is something that I just recently got into and loving it so far. But the greatest reason is because the game is 'good enough' to sate my entertainment needs without having to go for my alternative options that usually entails more expensive hobbies. That 'good enough'-goodwill won't last forever, though, and it has been on decline since 6.0 launch.
For me it is really just my FC-House and private House. I got nothing to do in the Game currently.
My Wife and i sometimes log in and do a bit of pvp. Then we get stomped by premades and then we play something else again.

Reclears, and teambuilding exercises with friends going into FRU.
I play for about an hour each week, now up to ~4 hours that teambuilding has started.
Is my sub worth it? Not really. I've really fallen out with this game. I just remain subbed because it's not much money.
Like others have said:
- Not wanting to lose my personal house and (more importantly) not having adequate storage for my furniture outside of house storage. I've been slowly getting rid of of stuff in my house, my apartment, and FC chamber but I still have too many furniture pieces I don't want to get rid of yet.
- My attachment to my character.
- Nostalgia.
Honestly though, I've been playing less and less and trying out new games (I picked up Elden Ring a little after DT launched). I think I might not even log back on until the patch. (◍´͈ꈊ`͈◍)
My FC house, personal house, and a friend's house being neighbors in the same ward. I know I will never be able to do that again so I will hold onto it and wait for my exploratory content.
I'm barely around. I just host an RP event a friend started and I want to keep up with (work allowing) and I'm hoping the Chaos Alliance Raid will hold interest.
Considering what we know of it though, I have my doubts to its mileage.
Other than that I've pretty much moved on.
I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

Mostly just the fc I've been in for 11years now and maybe PvP as well. I really like the job design there, it's very fun to play repeatedly although I'd like to see more people get into it as it's mostly the same ones.
I do like to explore for screenshots and go for some treasure hunts but it's gotten really repetitive now. Sightseeing logs are very fun but there is a limited amount of them. I haven't touched PvE ever since I leveled most jobs to level 100 (and some exclusively through frontline roulette cause I do not like them in PvE anymore).
I wished we had more social and more repeatable things to do that don't feel like you have to study for hours to get into it and enjoy
my mist 5 plot that remains undecorated
