For me personally it's the FFXI crossover 24 man. I think my subscription will live or die by how it turns out.

I can always Circle X crappy MSQ Cutscenes, but if they do something lame or derogatory towards XI I'll be unsubscribing for the first time ever. (and yes, Fake Prishe with spiked boxing gloves does not paint a good vibe about what's coming)

What about the rest of you? Is it your house, your friends, the raids, lack of other things to play, or something else?

The quality of the gameplay has been compromised since Shadowbringers, but now that the story quality is also compromised, why do you persist? Habit, perhaps?

To own the chuds by liking something of low quality?

The vibrant, terms of service breaking, modding scene?

The artistic inspiration you get from your blorbos/OCs?

A career built off of the game?

Why do you stick with FFXIV?

For me just leveling all jobs to 100 and keeping my FC from losing its house. If wasn't for those I would quit till the next expansion comes out because this one is garbage.

Honestly, I play with all my friends and we have a good time getting into different stuff. Beyond that uhhhh...atm it's to keep the fc house, and because I pay my sub 6mo in advance so I'm kinda chillin ig. Mostly it's because frens tho :3

I have a 10 year attachment to my WoL and still have goals - like levelling everything to 100. I don't have many left and waiting on my last jobs for the allied tribes to be released as I won't feel like doing dailies without any XP incentive.

I have minimal things to do on my actual main jobs which makes the game disappointing during these lulls.

While I'm starting to see cracks in my interest in the game due to the amount of content available for level 100 characters, I'm not yet ready to release my house and take a longer break quite yet.

My FC House, cause it sucks to start by 0 again with all Submarines. The next Patch has nothing that I am hyped for.

100% the XI crossover. But after looking back at the writing of the past couple years, how they had no regard for even XIV's world and lore, I am completely expecting them to muck it up so badly that they will have every XI player past and present coming at them with torches and pitchforks. I have simply lost all faith in SE at this point but part of me wants to sit and just watch how they burn not one, but two, mmos down.

I stood by them during 1.0, during all the ups and downs since, but the game seems to just be nothing but downs, so my actual gaming time is spend in Azeroth instead of Eorzea or Vana'diel these days. I am merely a curious spectator to how the once great company that gave us the Final Fantasy franchise and was the company all others looked to for innovation, is going to dismantle all their good will bit by bit until they are forced to be bought out by tencent.

I quite enjoyed the Dawntrail MSQ. Leveling and PvP are also entertaining.

Deep dungeons and tinkering with my house, though with the item limit I guess it's mostly the former now. Even made a paladin eureka weapon.

I have a lot of relics to finish, and I want every last one of them, lots of other smaller objectives that I have yet to do, even stupidly grindy ones like getting max suns in Bozja, even when I took a break during post-patch EW, it was specifically because I realized how much I was playing FFXIV and I needed to separate myself from the game, so there is plenty I actually want to do.
