The issue isn't money. Raw income from FFXIV alone eclipses everything else that SE does combined.

The issue is poor management of said money, being funneled into worthless projects that explode on the runway without even getting the chance to get off the ground.

The only thing that will make the game better is them getting less money. As it currently stands, the game is on track to be in maintenance mode by 9.0, because people will keep playing even when it sucks because of their houses or the community.

I'm pretty sure Yoshi-P said the game will get another decade of expansions for the second saga that just started with DT. I just hope they don't pull him away for other projects like FFXVI for example. Yeah, I agree that my sub will remain active for many years to come because of my homes that I worked very hard to get them both.
