Uh...just for the record? That is a Door Boss. Regardless, the Week 1 people are still going to destroy the Door Boss and clear the tier before you know it, so you can't stop it either way.

Seems like you are contradicting yourself. A doorboss would just mean another phase for them to get stuck on and hold you back.

Which is a frustration people have with doorbosses. Just like getting stuck on a first Phase, when there's a doorboss, all that happens is people get stuck on those instead.

Yeah, the lack of a doorboss makes this easier, not harder.


Also, I much prefer not having doorbosses, I find them boring and used too often in the last floors. It just makes progging even more annoying.

If every boss were like O4s Exdeath I wouldn't mind as much since that's just an intense ~4 minute fight that doesn't overstay it's welcome.
But with every expansion the door boss has just become increasingly longer, to the point where you're spending 8 minutes on the door boss and another 8 minutes on the actual boss.
Rather annoying to prog when you have to go through essentially an entire fight before you get back to your prog point every time you reset the instance.

And then on top of being annoying to prog and especially annoying on reclears you often also run into the issue where the door boss is the hardest part of the fight and the actual final boss is kind of a joke.

For PF this late that's a double edged sword because the player quality of PF will adjust downwards if not walled by a fight like p10s. Inconclusive if that would help OP in this case because they might be the kind of person that would get walled.

The player quality going downward the longer a tier goes on is a constant though, it has always been a thing and probably always will be, regardless of whether the tier has a door boss or not.

Instead of getting stuck on Electrope Edge 2 they'd just get stuck on whatever the newest Pinax equivalent would be.

What I'm trying to say is, make phase two the starting point when we die. Party Finder groups need it. Make the fights harder fine, but make phase 2 where we start if we die.

The fight is easier bevause there is no door. So u have to think again about what u really want. Pf will be pf nomatter how easy something is. Just stop with body checks so that I can play well off my own back

While PF does something extremely consistent by being inconsistent, the main issue why bagging your head against the wall exists has nothing to do with how the fight is designed or if the boss is a door boss or not.

The main core issue is that the PF is filled with people who are lying about their actual prog points or those who expect to simply be carried.
