Don't get me wrong. Everything you've said is 100% entirely right. But most MMO's tend to try to cater to both hardcore and casual players somehow. Even when FF14 started out, it tried to do it with the fatigue system. The way I see it, if I'm playing a subscription fee I should be able to enjoy as much of the game as someone else who's paying. So why should hardcore players only be able to benefit from this?

And this isn't a single-minded arguement, as since it's summer, I'm on for the majority of the day like most hardcore players. But my initial worry is for casual players, and the community at whole. Why create unneeded tension, drama? The way I see it, it's just going to be a ego stroke for elitists. Thus, my vote in all this is to not touch the primals at all. Leave them the way they are and just use another system. We shouldn't be meddling with beast men gods. :P
