Turn off Performance outright?

Is there any way to shut off both the sounds and lights associated with Performance? I know it can be muted outright (which I already do because I don't like the Performance sounds mixing with the BGM) but I also wanna kill the light show without outright blacklisting or hiding the one doing Performance.

I just don't hang around at Limsa, Gridania or Ul'dah and that solves the problem. I mean you can get an apartment and just teleport there to avoid it.

I only go to grid to buy drugs and sell them I spend my time in ishgard to evoide those

As others have said, avoid those areas. I teleport to my house that has a market board right by it. When I absolutely have to go to Limsa, I immediately port to Hawker’s Alley (has a market board but quieter than aetheryte area) or to the location I need to go. The other two cities have their MB a bit further so it’s just a matter of not standing near the main area. Another thing I do, I buy GC tickets from my GC: ports me in front of my GC for free instead of the crowded zone.

System Configuration - Sounds - Slide the slider on performance to 0.

I've turned performance volume to zero, but I haven't noticed any annoying visual effects other than a few minor sparkles & stuff.
Actually, people doing performances in Exodus Limsa are pretty rare. I haven't seen one in months, but then, I only go there when switching worlds for A-rank hunts.
