Thread: How many souls do you think a blessed sibling has?

Obviously they have at least one and I do think that if they were ran through the heart or had such an egregious wound where no amount of healing could help them that they'd die no matter how many souls they have. I'm only wondering about this due to well Gulool Ja Ja still being able to carry on even after it having been three years since one of their heads passing on.

Isn't this answered directly in the duel between Gulool Ja Ja and Zoraal Ja?

For whatever reason I took that to be something similar to someone saying "you have the strength of five men" despite the death of the head of reason having died. Not that there were two souls.

When we first encounter that scene, that makes sense.

After we learn what the regulators are and how they work, I think we can look back on the scene and decide that Zoraal Ja was being a bit more literal. We know that he's "evening the odds" by imbuing himself with a second soul. So, at least he thinks Galool Ja Ja had two souls before the Head of Reason passed.

They're conjoined twins, so they have to have two, logically speaking. The Blessed Siblings are interesting cases of characters that are two people treated as a single individual. It's the siblings themselves that treat their heads as two separate individuals instead of two facets of the same person.

Trick question, one soul per blessed sibling, two to a "blessed siblings" pair.

They're either conjoined twins or (more apparently) some weird merging of non-identical twins; either way they have to end up with a soul each or it would imply that other twins also have to share a soul.

Most likely it's a purely cultural decision to treat them as one entity with one shared name.

On a related note, did the ala mhigo resonant thingy impact the quantity of souls zenos and frodo had or was that more a restructuring than anything?

Seems the process breaks everything down to aether.
And knowing what happens when a Voidsent eats another’s soul, Zenos and Fordola wouldn’t be able to maintain their own sense of self so easily if they got fused with more souls.

If the wiki gives a citation for this, then that'd be helpful, because otherwise the fandom wiki's basically worthless for anything non-mechanical about any game newer than, like, FFXII. They're terrible about both getting accurate information, and removing inaccurate information.

All that said, we do know that Krile was the pattern (or one of the patterns) for Fordola's Resonance, and Mikoto for Misija's. Given Krile and Mikoto are still alive, I think you can do this math fairly well.

Later on, when he gave himself all the souls, was the effect mostly just making himself very ill or was he just not that strong to begin with?
