    not gonna lie tho I do see variant dungeon behind a normal dungeon idea could give way more stuff to do and give you a reason to redo then other then glam

    If it requires doing all of the prior content to get to the newest version, then people will be mad about it. Just look at how many were ticked off at having to do Hildebrand to get to the Endwalker relics, and that can be mostly wrapped up in a couple hours by skipping cutscenes. Imagine how angry people would be if they had to grind out all of Eureka's current zones to get to new content.

    I don't disagree in premise, but...

    Eureka and Bozja have some of the strongest longevity of any piece of content released in this game, period.

    It's not as popular as it was on launch, but that is hardly a surprise, really. Any piece of content is going to wain over time, but both Eureka and Bozja have stood that test and have enough players and popularity to actually be a good experience.

    I think the issue is - this is nothing more than your own personal opinion. Other people can just as easily find Eureka/Bozja style content to be boring while enjoying dungeons/raids/extremes/etc. even after doing them many times over. Heck, any of the WT objectives where you have a choice of things (e.g. do any EW alliance raid), I pick whichever one I loved the music on the most and have a blast even if it's the umpteenth time I'm doing it.

    In the end, no group of players (e.g. "casuals") are monolithic and will uniformly like or uniformly dislike any particular type of content. Which is also the reason they vary the focus from expansion to expansion, so that a wider audience finds things they enjoy.

    I want them to add legendary weapons and armor. We have pteranodon mount that requires 500000 skyward points for each DoL job and hunt mounts that requires you to kill thousands of marks that you can’t even grind, because you need to spawn them first and the spawn rate has a cd, why can’t we have something similar to farm gear? I also want gear to last longer, you spend MONTHS farming your bis and you have no use for it other than ultimates, assuming you do them. And even if you do, when the next patch come out you just throw away your hard earned gear and replace it with crafted gear that you can craft in an hour… That always makes me question myself what for did I farm my bis? Sure raids are fun to do, but I also wanna be rewarded and I don’t care about glam.

    Vertical progression MMOs can also be called "Ladder" MMOs. You climb the ladder, and when you reach the top, there's just another ladder or the wait for another ladder. You can also climb back down to the lower ladders if there was a spot you enjoy, but it's never the same as when it was new, and it never matters beyond its level outside of achievements and mounts.

    There is never long term planning in ladder type MMOs or games. There's just the new season. It's the same day in and day out, except for when they change things by fundamentally altering or adding new classes.

    The great thing about it is that it makes the game easy to pick up. It's not hard to climb the ladders, ever. The bad thing about it is that it makes the game easy to put down. They basically rely on the fact that it's so easy to pick up, the amount of people picking it up will outweigh the number of people putting it down.

    I would struggle to call Bozja or Eureka live content. They're both a shell of their former selves and you basically solo or run everything in 5-10 person parties whenever you do them. The majority are not intersted in filling out parties or helping others, they're just there to farm their items to sell on the MB.

    Bozja for instance, most people are parked in Z3 of Zadnor and refuse to move an inch unless a FATE spawns. Getting Dalriada groups or CLL or even DR groups are a complete pain because everyone wants to sit in Z3 Zadnor and farm FATES all day.
    Eureka is the same but replace that with Pyros Bunny FATES or specific NMs in Pagos.
    That's content on life support, it's dead except for one specific area where people farm it for items to marketboard, but otherwise you're on your own.

    I literally ran CLL twice yesterday evening. Back-to-back, within the same instance. 20+, 30+ people in the runs. Recruiting consisted of one person shouting, "Hey, CLL is up!" all of one time.

    Every time I've set foot in Eureka Pagos, Pyros, and Hydatos, it's been easy peasy to find a group (or two or three) that was just going through the list of NMs and spawning whatever happened to be off cooldown.

    Perhaps Bozja and Eureka are shells of their former selves, but the idea that they've been reduced to self-centered solo players farming for gil or whatever isn't my recent experience.

    If you want gear to have more longevity, that means removing gear as a reward from most content so the gear you do get will last longer.

    What are you then expecting to be rewarded with since it would no longer be gear?
