Dream would be less passive gameplay (just waiting around for NM fates in Eureka or fates in Bozja). No elemental wheel or sigils for generic attack or defense bonuses, or lost actions. Instead it will give zone exclusive abilities and traits for each job that you can unlock and upgrade, something like Vorpal Strike for PLD that uses gauge for an offensive attack, or blind, paralyze, slow for RDM.

Also make bosses more interesting, perhaps one is more like the Monster Hunter trial where you need to stun/down it to deal real damage, or another that has target-able weapons such as a cannon you can destroy and prevent the boss from using those specific attacks.

Give me something new instead of just the same combat that we have in everything else.
