The FATEs weren't quite as bad as in the open world. Sometimes they had rough mechanics like the red chocobo one. They are better and more threatening than the FATEs we get outside them, but still get destroyed by the sheer amount of people.

They did have CEs though which had the sort of development dungeon bosses get. It looks like those will continue.

But I hope they try some new ideas in there as well, since there's no reason not to.
