    Lost Actions really made up for the mundane mob and fate grinding for me but my biggest gripe is that straight up damage is king. Solemn Clarity is fun as a DRK but has a baffling activation and is overall just not worth it when Font of Power, Noble Ends and HonSac exist. Same goes for essences.

    I agree they should find some ways to spice up the old grinds but they also released Eureka Orthos so im not expecting anything.

    I enjoyed Bozja when it came out. I just don't like how later Lost Actions and Rays of Power completely trivialize the content.

    Eureka on the other hand suffers from the massive Echo that was later added. I missed when the zones were dangerous to traverse and the NMs decimated players.

    Dream would be less passive gameplay (just waiting around for NM fates in Eureka or fates in Bozja). No elemental wheel or sigils for generic attack or defense bonuses, or lost actions. Instead it will give zone exclusive abilities and traits for each job that you can unlock and upgrade, something like Vorpal Strike for PLD that uses gauge for an offensive attack, or blind, paralyze, slow for RDM.

    Also make bosses more interesting, perhaps one is more like the Monster Hunter trial where you need to stun/down it to deal real damage, or another that has target-able weapons such as a cannon you can destroy and prevent the boss from using those specific attacks.

    Give me something new instead of just the same combat that we have in everything else.

    expecting nothing, gonna be another grind because "hey it's fun to make player level up again for nothing" and having most of the map locked being that leveling + a boring quest instead of letting player you know ... EXPLORE

    Man, y'all in here really hated Bozja that much? I was having a blast in there and really missed having an equivalent in Endwalker. Sure, I hope there's some new surprises, but I'm just glad there's going to be an exploratory zone AT ALL after the last two years lacking one + how bored I am with Dawntrail and wanting midcore content.

    If you hated Bozja and Eureka, this content probably isn't for you. If you liked either of those, though, I'm hopeful that it will be iterating on the things I enjoyed about those zones.

    Diadem, Eureka, Bozja, and variant dungeons are all they've been able to come up with in response to people saying they wanted more exploration. There's never been any hope.

    I hated Bozja when I was leveling it up, mostly trying to do it solo, but I've come around and fallen in love with the content since finding a group of people to do it with. The extremely boring story didn't help (and yet, I'd still like to see a continuation/follow-up on that story's loose threads). I'd hardly describe it as "exploration," though. Eureka was a bit more exploratory, made the map itself more of a character, but that still has its limits when the map is finite and non-random. Eventually you just see it all and that will always be the case.

    When Mao thinks of explorations, Mao thinks of zones in GW2. HUGE areas full of vistas, points of interests, puzzles, hidden treasures, special resource nodes, and repeating events whats can be influenced by players. NONE of which is locked behind MSQs and ALL of which gives xps as well as joy of discoverys. Mao hopings this will come to FFXIV.

    While true, the pictures they chose to take show what they regard as a defining feature of a Field Operation - CE type battles and big boss NMs with mechanics.
