Why would you put trove coins on Crystal tower?

It is a really good question to whomever designed this trove thing and that people is really tried of anything forced Crystal Tower.

Why not put the trove coins onto the coils, and for 24 man raids SB, SHB, EW raids.

IT seem really off to me that other content is not promoted better than the usual.

Because sprouts need people to help them clear it so they can progress the MSQ. So you get rewarded for helping those sprouts.

If you would like to do it a way other than CT, there are plenty of other ways to get them.

CT doesn't need tomestones. Don't be ridiculous. I have NEVER seen a new player complain about how long it took to get a CT raid pop. Half the people on this game probably haven't even unlocked the other raids, and the one time they could give a bonus to those raids so people *would* unlock them, they don't.

I wish they'd just include all the alliance raids for tomes. Maybe I'm unlucky, but I only got CT twice since the moogle event started, every other time it's been Void Ark.

Rotate the alliance raids. So every patch a diffirent set gets promoted. It avoids the situation in which 1 raid set is more beneficial so people focus on that one only. Thats why its good only 1 set is promoted, but ARR is just the wrong set to ever promote. It being msq mandatory and f2p makes it easy to fill up as every player within the roulette can be matched. So HW and onward should be promoted.

But within that, its still often just 1 of the raids that is most time efficient, causing players to spam that more often. Which again isnt helpful.

I at least would have said that in the even they should make it so every 2 or 3 days each raid gets a bonus on its own that outweights the normal raid value. Even just a boost of 4 makes it worthy to at least do the other 2 raids, and with a 2 day long rest, that means a bonus of 6 tomes per day on average. That realy makes the entire raid set get promoted instead of just 1 within those. This would even help in ARR by making all 3 raids beneficial.

i was actually waiting 2 years for seeing the void arch in full until i found people who helped me. Meanwhile CT pops up everyday yes this one clearly need a reward for helping new players
btw making it part of the MSQ progress is not an excuse because now its now open for everybody this thing will fill automatically if many new players are out there.

I‘m sorry but I disagree.
Crystal Tower is probably the only think in this Game that does NOT need help to trigger.
It‘s the single most occuring A-Raid next to Labyrinth. At most I could see world of darkness here.

The Ivalice raids trigger so rarely that players nowadays don‘t even know the mechanics anymore. Hell people often leave till they get tower because they have become so used to it that everything else is a chore to them.

Yes it is important to help keep old content alive for sprouts but crystal tower is first not one of them and second the other raids can also be considered old by now.
They have an obligation to keep the entire game alive and not just this overused joke of a raid.

SE KNOWS of the problems with these raids and yet they do this here. They hold so much to their formula it‘s really annoying.
I don‘t care much for this event but this here can rightfully be criticized.

Uh, CT isn't there to help sprouts progress MSQ, its there so sprouts have a chance to get tomes as well. Since its the only MSQ required alliance raid series; it makes sense to compile everyone together at the lowest and required raids so people can farm it without waiting for queues. If MSQ finally makes the Void Ark series a requirement to do for the story; they can start doing more events based around it. CT however, will always be top choice for these events because it reaches the most players.

I don't think even this is the case. Two mogtome events ago, it was CT. When I asked why, people used the same logic. "A set rotation." The next mogtome event was not CT. And now we have this one where it's CT again. If it is a rotation, then it's a very short cycle where CT is repeated every other rotation. Which brings us back to the OP's question of why it's done this way.

Most of the event is low leveled crap. It doesn't have to be a zero sum game, either. Just... have ct, but also have some other stuff for people who don't want to be downsynced to level 50 or 60. Easy fix.
