Yeah honestly, Endwalker was so good for PvP. With CC having an honest to god tournament scene, there's a lot more specialized discord servers and team specific ones.

The Princesses have traditionally not bothered with language filtering, and members have been toxic to those suggesting they follow this universally-accepted convention.

The "good vibes and giggles" you mention are malicious cackles at those outsiders inconvenienced by their ghastly events.

I don't see the problem at all actually, and it's a really weird hill to call someone a griefer on. How dare people want to... pvp as a community? Play Frontlines for more than a daily roulette? Your story sounds like you interacted with people who were a bit rude in explaining their mini sync, which is a shame. What it does not sound like is griefing. Did they single you out? BM you? Mark you ignore on their team? All of those are examples of griefing. Just queuing up for a game-mode because of a community event is not. Nor do I think it's a justification for calling their events "ghastly".

They vote-kicked me from FL twice when I had said nothing in chat and was fully participating. My FC has also suffered harassment.

As to the events, I fully support community-driven ones. The series mentioned in this thread may well be fun, although I'll avoid it for obvious reasons.

What isn't fun is the Princesses trademark: an unfiltered Q-synch featuring a single job, particularly when it is explicitly planned to be as disruptive as possible to the "normals." Such events are "ghastly" IMO for those not in on the alleged joke. And the general disruption produced by unfiltered Q-synchs is explicitly mentioned in the literature for the event promoted in this thread, which I quoted above.

The forums tend to load slow when you first sign up because nothing is cached.

I don't care what y'all wear when you Q-synch. My point is that the Princesses specifically have a history of deliberately disrupting FL matches through single-job mini Q-synchs. I am expressing the opinion that this is wrong.

You may "get a laugh" from all playing themed jobs. Maybe if the discussion on that server didn't explicitly reference which single job would cause the most disruption, they wouldn't get accused of being disruptive?

Maybe one day we'll have custom matches and these conflicts can be avoided.

That's what I'm ultimately pushing for. If I can get that with the option to play frontlines with an undersized party option I'll be happy again. Right now, it's not worth for me. Snatching away both 24 man and playing for your GC following with doubling down on playing for xp/fun and not a win....I'll pass.
