Total noob here. Just started . Could use some help with some questions i have please

I am on this server in the EU. I just started this week. I played a trial last year and thought it was ok.

This month the makers of world of warcraft managed to make a lot of their players really angry when they "deleted" tens of thousands of guild bank accounts. All contents, gone. In some cases 20 years worth of stuff. Gone. All of it. "Deleted" in a botched database/game update.

Since i studied for my IT certificates on the windows platform i know the stuff is not lost and that they are unable and unwilling to reconcile two separate databases of the game, to make the bank items appear again. The items are still in back ups that they have. They are just too lazy to have a highly skilled and qualified SQL dev write the scripts to extract the tables from the data bases and merge the talbes on a "living" database that the game runs on. They are lazy and have convinced large amounts of the player base that the info is "lost". It is not lost. They are lazy.

Our guild lost everything in our bank. The war within launch has been a disaster and i am not supporting that behavior any more by paying them for their failures and incompetence.

They are not handing out compensation packages and the apology, six weeks too late, amounts to a one paragraph statement with the actual apology being a 10 word statement.

So. No stuff back, ever. What was lost is now lost forever and there will be no more discussion of the matter as they are now even locking discussions on the matter claiming that people are "goign in circles".

Indeed. I am not paying them anymore and i am quitting their game for good this time. They have ticked me off with their antics one time too many. I played WoW off and on since 2010.

So i needed a new game to play. I tried this and i like it so far. I was not able to post on forums to ask for help so made the jump to paid account as i am now staying.

My question was regarding he joining of companies so i can get a mount as i am now 30. I went to gridania's company and i cant see any quest givers/asker nor am i able to talk to anybody there.

I am pretty deep into the MSQ and have done more than a few archer questl lines so i should be able to unlock the ability to join a company.

I read that the req to join a company was at the end of the questline where they send you to the three different zones. I do remember going to them and doing the quests.

Is there any way for me to check where i am stuck in the quest to get a mout?

--> find out what your current MSQ is, and find it on the list.
(Pay attetion to MSQ lvl, not your own level , as you often outlvl the MSQ)

How unlock mount
- Be level 20+
- joined a Grand Company (MSQ).
- Pick up the Blue quest;[ My Little Chocobo]
