People *without* rabies often refer to that sort of thing as "friendly advice."I absolutely love how this is the go-to "gotcha" for the housing issues in this game.
"Go to another server" "It's your own fault"
Because people want to let go of everything they've invested in this game, just to pay to move to another server, just to enjoy an aspect of the game?
GTFO out of here with your entitled bs.

I never understand the logic of people aiming for a specific plot.I concede defeat to RNG bs and i will just try to get a house in a different region.
it is a pointless endeavor to try to get houses in the mist cause they will just get yoinked by some moneybags with a premade exterior design kit no matter how many time you throw your head at the bloody wall.
and i cant even be as mad as i want to be cause the current system is some how better that what it was!
so were just stuck getting ballbusted but the holygrail of rng failure loops
The basic of basics for housing: get a plot first.

Just try getting a home in the ghetto. I mean the Goblet. It's much easier to win there.
That's what I ended up doing. I had my heart set on a plot in Mist as well, but after loosing 7 lotteries in a row, I went for a plot in Goblet and got one on my first try. It really helped that I was the only one bidding on that plot... Khryseis_Astra is right, however, they do have the most amazing starry nights there.

Mao agrees! Goblets is NICE. Mao loves all the brown stoneworks. Is make greenery stand out much more!

he's going to grift, harass, downplay, disenfranchise, gaslight, stalk, and gate keep!
Goblet has too much brown for me, if they used more varied and colorful stones, it'll look better but being that it's Ul'dah, the Goblet should look like the Hanging Gardens of Babylon with many plants and more, if they could add plants and trees to the valley and the paths between homes, it may become one of the nicer zones. Empyreum is another housing zone that has many low bid plots too as an alternative.
