I agree the targeting system should be better. It's so annoying. But do I expect SE to do this? No. But you never know. I was surprised they even added cone targeting.
- Target in order of actual proximity.
- Target lowest HP-to-highest for tanks (or make it configurable) because lower HP more likely needs extra enmity.
- Target highest HP-to-lowest for DPS because you want to use your big attacks on enemies with most HP left (or make it configurable).
- Option to use a circle as well as a cone (yes this would get things behind you even more, but this is good for tanks when enemies surround them).
- Cycle through the enemy list, then cycle through enemies not in the enemy list (to account for when you haven't pulled yet on a tank).
- Cycle through the enemies not in the list but that are close (within the cone) on a tank (or make it configurable) in case there are mobs near the party that you didn't get enmity on.
- Configurably target enemies that are actively casting an interruptable attack as priority (yes, contrary to belief, many enemies do this in dungeons).
I specifically meant you can split your Enhancements (aka buffs) from your Enfeeblements (aka debuffs) or adjust the priority of them."Already a thing" do you mean in announced upcoming patches? because my vulnerability stacks and other debuffs are still positionally locked to my buff bar, and I cant move my mp on top of my job gauge while having my HP below it.
I personally like them together with "Left Justified I" so if I have debuffs, they appear in front of the buffs making it immediately obvious I'm in trouble.
The HP/MP can't be split. So I put the cross over half of it only.
The queue pop appears over the top of the cutscene and if you enter the duty, it automatically aborts the cutscene. Same in battle really.Abort cutscene is far more important than abort combat during a queue pop.
But as one poster said this doesn't apply if you are on a different job than the one you queued as. I can't really relate to that because I wouldn't put myself in such a situation and if I did, I would probably just take the penalty and continue the cutscene.
You can re-watch cutscenes at The Unending Journey at an Inn. It has a list of cutscenes for each quest and for each dungeon. Usually the cutscene will be tied to the quest but in some cases they may be part of the dungeon, so you can check both.I permanently missed some Dawntrail cutscenes and have no way to know what they were because this option does not exist.
I didn't really think about it because from my point of view, there are purple dyes and there is even an entire section dedicated to purple dyes.Is there a reason you think that real purple dyes will never be an option? I ask with tears in my eyes after seeing several recent armors with the undyeable colors I want but not the style of outfit
All of them except the general-purpose one do seem like overly dark or overly light shades, so maybe you have a point. My guess is they did it this way due to the lighting. They choose colors very carefully in this game based on what will work and contrast well. They may be able to do more now due to the graphics update, we'll have to see.
