    AIN

    This needs to go. You shouldn't be missing out bonus xp, money and crystals just because you don't play a tank or healer. As much as people think healers and tanks are the most important, it's incredibly painful in any content when your dps is trash.

    AIN is not a system to reward the "most important" roles, but instead to entice those to queue up roles that are less represented in the queues. Dps is rarely a AIN because the game is incredibly oversaturated with DPS roles and players.

    Tanks and healers need to be willing to do the job.
    Dps are a dime a dozen and easily replaceable.

    As simple as that.

    The AIN bonus isn't usually worth much anyway. Eventually you realize it's not even worth it on most roulettes at most levels.

    I think SE should improve the bonus: If the role is bad enough to make a #strike, to convince me to play it they have to give me something substantial in exchange.
    let's say some RNG item (minion, mount, consumable....)

    Maybe they should fix the role first and make it fun and interesting. Maybe they should also consider giving DPS more responsibilities in parties too, which is the primary reason why people don't go support, as they shy away from those.

    Although I think the dps could have a little more responsibility (I proposed it myself some time ago, with conflicting opinions) I don't think someone chooses to play a DPS class to avoid responsibility, but rather because everyone wants to be a striker and no one wants to be a goalkeeper.

    In short, it is an unsolvable "trinity" problem.

    So if there is only a few goalkeepers and many strikers but the strikers only want to play strikers what’s the point of changing the goalkeeper position to better suit the strikers at the expense of the people who like being a goalkeeper when the strikers have fully said they don’t want to be goalkeepers

    It's a fundamental design issue I never encountered in any of the other MMOs I've played and one that's easily remedied by giving them more offensive abilities and/or changing how damage is structured in the average encounter so they actually need to use their GCD healing buttons outside of emergencies.
    This is the striker asking the goalkeeper to be a striker.
