Scrolling down the party list using Xbox controllers

Apologies if it's not appropriate to post here.

I believe the only way to scroll down the party list using the xbox controllers is to use the d-pad and press up or down. Due to where the d-pad is alligned for the xbox controller, I currently struggle to pick a party member in my party list. Is there possibly another way, such as combining 2 buttons (LB, X, Y etc) to scroll through the party list using xbox controllers? If not, as feedback, could the devs implement such method?

I'm guessing there's not a specific way to change what buttons activate this functionality without affecting your other keybindings, but you maybe be able to - for example - swap the functionality of D-pad up with LB. I swapped my L2 and R2 years ago.

I'm curious how you play with a controller at all if using the D-Pad to select party members is difficult. To me, it's no more difficult than holding a trigger and hitting a d-pad direction to activate an action, and it's crucially integral for that purpose. I'm not trying to downplay whatever struggle you're having, I'm just trying to understand how you would have that issue and not have issues with the d-pad use altogether.

Dpad use on Xbox controllers and controllers with similar layout requires letting go of the left stick or reaching over with the right hand. On a PlayStation controller and similar layouts you can curl the index finger in to reach the dpad while keeping moving and using the right controlle side normally.

I personally do find Xbox controllers unpleasant to use due to their layout.
