The Raid scales with the players that enter it, 8 Man should be a very smooth run in under 15 minutes.

The raid doesn't scale, the echo does. 8man is a very smooth run in around 20 minutes. Going under that requires lost action cycling which isn't financially worth it.

when I recruit for DR I ask everyone to join as a DPS or tank with DPS boost because I play healer and tank but if people know what they are doing you can even do it with only 3 person

This second sentence just simply isn't true. I have almost 100 clears on DR and I've never dumped so much gil into it. Have had dozens of clean and fast clears with 4-6 players.
